Error 1014: Smart Extruder Connect Failed

  • This error occurs when the "Attach Extruder" action fails
  • Reseat the Smart Extruder and try "Attach Extruder" again

This error usually means that the physical connection from the extruder to the carriage is not secure.

If the extruder icon on your printer's display is empty it means that your extruder is not well connected.

To secure your extruder to the printer, reattach your extruder to the printer as shown below:

On the printer's interface, select Extruder > Attach Smart Extruder Now > Continue.
