    Which MakerBot 3D printer should I get?

    Can I Get a Sample Print?

    Yes! If you’d like to see what a 3D printed object looks like, head over to makerbot.com/sample and enter your shipping information to have a sample print sent to you. The sample print will be the “MakerBolt,” a functional 3D printed nut and bolt. We do not provide custom example prints at this time.

    Placing an Order

    How Long Will It Take for My Order to Ship?

    Unless otherwise noted in the item description, all products ship with one week of lead time. If you have any questions about the lead time on a specific item, please contact our Support Team. For more information about our shipping policies please visit makerbot.com/legal/shipping-policies.

    Is Tax Included in the Price?

    Sales tax will be added to the price of your order at checkout according to the sales tax rate for your shipping address. Orders shipping to Alaska, Arkansas, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oregon, and Wyoming will not include state sales tax.

    If you have tax exempt status, or are ordering on behalf of a tax exempt organization such as a school or certain nonprofits, please speak to a member of our Sales Team about excluding the sales tax from your order total. Please have your proof of tax exempt status ready.

    Can I Place an International Order?

    Most customers who live outside the United States can order directly from the MakerBot website or by contacting our Sales Team, but there are a few exceptions:

    • If you are ordering from the European Union (excluding the United Kingdom and Ireland), Russia, or Turkey, you must place your order through eu.makerbot.com or an authorized MakerBot reseller.
    • If you are ordering from the United Kingdom or Ireland, you must place your order through the following form.
    • The MakerBot Replicator Z18 can only be ordered directly from MakerBot within the United States and Canada. To order a MakerBot Replicator Z18 from any other country, please complete and submit the following form. An agent from your region will contact you about placing an order.

    All international customers: Before placing an order, please make sure you know how to get your package cleared through customs. You should also determine what VAT, tariffs, duties, handling fees, customs clearance charges, and other taxes and fees are required by your country for importing consumer goods. Because policies vary widely around the world, these types of charges will not be included in the price of your order, and you will need to pay them separately.

    What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

    You may pay for your items with a check, debit card, credit card or wire transfer. We can also accept purchase orders, subject to approval.


    After Ordering

    Will I Receive a Confirmation Email after Making My Purchase?

    Yes! You should receive a confirmation email within two hours of placing an order. If you do not receive a confirmation email, first make sure to check your Spam or Junk folder in case our email was filtered out of your Inbox. If you’re still unable to find your confirmation email or MakerBot order number, please contact our Customer Support Team. Please have the last four digits of the credit card number you used to place your order ready.

    Are Your Products Covered by Warranty?

    What Is Your Return Policy?

    MakerBot accepts returns within 30 days from date of delivery, with some restrictions. Please visit our Customer Support Policy page for more information: makerbot.com/legal/customer-service.

    Can I Order a Replacement Part If It Is Not on Your Website?

    If you are interested in purchasing a spare part that is not currently listed on our website, please contact our Customer Support team. A Customer Support agent, who will help you place your order.
