How to Print from TinkerCAD

    The new MakerBot and Autodesk Tinkercad compatibility, a first-in-class connection between 3D design and 3D printing. Users can export models directly to My MakerBot, all without ever leaving their web browsers. This new connection brings two essential STEM learning tools together and empowers educators to easily equip students with critical design and problem-solving skills.

    How to Print from TinkerCAD

    1. Create a model by manipulating basic shapes, importing, or tinker an existing model shared from another designer. Once you have your model ready to print, click Export > 3D Print > MakerBot

    2. Once you click on MakerBot, you will be redirected to My MakerBot where you can send your model to any MakerBot printer that has been connected to your network. **Pop-ups must be enabled for the browser to successfully redirect you to

    3. Adjust basic print settings for an optimized print and select Print. 

    4. Your file will begin transferring to your MakerBot Printer. This may take a few minutes depending on the network connection and complexity of the model. After the transfer is complete, your print will begin.
