How Do I Change the Settings for My Prints?

    Default Settings

The MakerBot Replicator Mini prints best using the default settings in MakerBot Desktop. When you prepare a model for the MakerBot Replicator Mini, your objects will be sliced using the standard quality profile, which has a layer height of .2 mm. Every object will be built on a raft to ensure that your print adheres well to the build plate. After a model is loaded into the software, you can click the gear symbol in the MakerBot Print software to access the basic print settings. Use the Support checkbox to choose whether to print with automatically generated support structures.

    Advanced Settings

Click the Add a Custom Setting option for additional settings, including speed settings and advanced options for rafts and support. You can choose which settings to change and apply to the current print job here. You can deselect these settings by hovering over their name with your mouse cursor in the Print Settings panel and clicking on the “X” next to their names.
