What is the Latest Firmware Version?

    Keeping your firmware up to date will help ensure that your MakerBot 3D printer runs as smoothly as possible. MakerBot Desktop will alert you when it is time to update your firmware. It is a good idea to check for new firmware every time you update MakerBot Desktop. 

    To check which version of firmware you have in MakerBot Desktop, make sure your MakerBot 3D printer is connected, then go to the Devices menu and click Update Firmware. Your current firmware version will be displayed in the dialog that opens. 

    Note:  This does not apply to version 3.10 of MakerBot Desktop Software.

     MakerBot 3D Printers

    The latest firmware version for the MakerBot Replicator 2 and MakerBot Replicator 2X is 7.6. The latest firmware version for the original Makerbot Replicator is 7.5.
