I was wondering whether plastic extruded by a Makerbot would be suitable as a hot liquid container. Would there be any toxicity issues or other problems?
Unfortunately, we don't recommend that you use MakerBotted items for eating or drinking -- the plastics we use are not food-safe. In particular, don't use printed ABS objects with hot liquids or alcohol.
