Does MakerBot Industries offer any sort of warranty on the Thing-O-Matic?

Answer:

Basically, since the machine is sold as a kit, and many problems can come about from poor building, our warranty only says that the individual parts will be in good condition when they are received. If you identify an issue with your kit, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

Also please keep in mind that we can't accept returns on kits once they are opened.  If you've started to assemble the machine, you'll have to finish, so read through the assembly instructions thoroughly before starting.  If you decide not to attempt the build, we will accept the return of your complete, unopened kit for a refund minus a 4% restocking fee.
