missing parts?

I'm in the process of building my thingomatic kit but while building the stepstruder I couldn't find the metal brace for the fan or the support plate for the heat sink. Is there any way I can have these parts sent to me so I can complete the assembly?

I am in the process of building the makerbot thingomatic but can not find the thermocouple in any of the boxes/bags/etc.  Can I get one sent to me?

I am also missing the thermocouple. It would be great to get one sent to me, a part number would also be useful. Regards,

help!! i just got the "Thing O Matic". i would like to find out, how many "Z Motor Flange" are we provided from the pack? i only have one "Z Motor Flange" and its attached in the end of the rod almost attaching the motor it self.  there is no space for me to squeeze a screw since it near the bottom of the rod.

or are we meant to have 2 "Z Motor Flange" in the pack??  i don't have it.

can some one tell me how many "Z Motor Flange" are we meant to have in the pack, if its only one and its attach on the rod could some one advise on this please.

thanks guys.

Hi

That is the normal spot for the flange it's were mine was, just turn the motor/flange till it screws off. On the z stage build instructions "*This flange might be attached to your motor so please double-check!"

as for Vahe Bandarian and others

if I remember mine was not with the extruder and was with the hardware burrito or the main electronics, it was in a small white paper (2.5" to 3.5"/6.5cm to 8.5cm) envelope looks allot like baking paper

Makerbots in the mk7 extruder build instructions say " Thermocouple(found in Gen4 electronics kit)" in the mk6+ "thermocouple included in the Extruder Controller v3.6 kit for a MakerBot Thing-O-Matic."

the aluminum build surface is an additional item that needs to be purchased in addition to the thing-o-matic.

i dont have an aluminium surface for the heated build platform in the kit. l do have a piece of plexiglass that is scored on the surface with a scored cross in the middle. Should i use this instead? How do i get the aluminium surface? Can i make one from sheet and if so what thickness of aluminium?

The thermocouple is in a wax envelope inside the same bag that the memory card is in. Hope that helps
