I am having trouble with the plastruder motor. Before a build the motor works fine, the plastic comes out the motor goes forward and revers. Then during a build, it will work up to 50%-75% of the build then stop, so at beginning it is working, then just stops turning before the end of the build. When it is not working there is no voltage on leads, so does this make it a controller problem?
Thank You

Forgot to add, this is MK5 cupcake.
I am having the same problem with mine. This really worries me as now I can't seem to get it to work at all. When I try to reupdate the extruder firmware it disconnects before i am able to get to the update button screen. It is fine when I am updating the motherboard.
I also have a MK5 cupcake and my DC extruder motor will just stop during a build. Works fine on straight DC power though, and will start working again after being run on DC for a sec. Does this mean I have a bad motor or what?
One of the things I tried was to start printing off an SD card instead of the USB, this seamed to allow me to finish the build without DC motor interruptions.
I'm having the same problem except my setup is a dualstrudor / replicator. I think it's the software and not the hardware. I tried to print 3 objects 2 of them stopped midway but the other one finished properly. I know the extrudor is not clogged (had it for less than 2 weeks).
For now I'll just print with the right one but I'm hoping I don't have to choose.
